Pharmacy Nicotine Vaping Prescriptions
Dr Shu is a TGA Authorised Prescriber of Nicotine and is very experienced in helping patients quit smoking with nicotine vaping methods.
Nicotine vaping is not first line therapy for smoking cessation. This service is for patients who have failed other approved methods of smoking cessation.

This assessment is only for patients purchasing nicotine pods/products from Australian Pharmacies.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1:
Go to www.QuitRX.com.au.
Or click here to complete the QuitRX New/Repeat Medical Assessment.
If you are not sure if nicotine vaping products is for you or would like to speak with us first, please email hello@quitrx.com.au.

You must be over 18 years old to access this service. You will be asked to upload proof of age and identification, and submit payment for a doctor's assessment ($49) which includes a prescription if appropriate.
Fees are not medicare rebatable, however are kept reasonably low.

Step 3:
If further clarification is required, you will be contacted by email or phone.
If your assessment is approved, your prescription will be sent to you by SMS and email.
You will receive an email notification that your prescription has been sent.
If your assessment is declined for any reason, you will receive a partial refund.

Step 4:
Call up or head over to your nominated pharmacy to pick up your products or organise delivery.

Step 5:
Start or continue your smoking cessation journey!
If you require repeats after 3 or 6 months, complete the same form but select the repeat prescription option.
